Abstract

506,795. Beds for dogs. DAKIN, D. Dec. 1, 1937, No. 33196. [Class 5 (ii)] [Also in Group XVII] A case which can be opened out to form a bed for a dog comprises .a body 1 and a lid 2 hinged together by a common member 3. When opened out as shown, flaps 4 forming part of the peripheral wall of the body are swung out and attached by fasteners 5 to the . flange of the lid, and the bottom of the tray is covered by a mattress or rug. -The lid can be held closed by press button fasteners 8, 9, and a carrying strap 7 is also provided. The case can be made in various shapes and of leather, cardboard, wood, metal, &c., and it may be covered. According to the Provisional Specification, the case may be lined with washable material, such as rubberized fabric.
