Abstract

407,176. Toy receptacles. CROPPER, B., 365, High Road, Kilburn, London. Feb. 10, 1933, No. 4120. [Class 132 (iii).] A doll, toy animal, puppet, or the like is constructed in two parts, one part comprising the body and the other part comprising the head, hingedly connected together, one part having a box or container, and the other part forming a lid or closure to the box or container, the meeting edges of the two parts forming the neck being provided with a sliding clasp fastener. The toy dog shown is made of skin, textile fabric, &c., and has the head 1 hinged at 4 to the body 2, the body having a receptacle 3 adapted to be closed by the cover disc 5 secured to the head. The receptacle 3 is closed by the fastener members 6, 6<a> of the slider operated interengaging hook type secured together by the sliding clasp 7. When closed the receptacle 3 can be locked by the padlock 9. The body 2 is provided with a pocket 10 with sliding fastening device 11, 11<a> for receiving a nightdress or other article. A detachable collar or other ornamental means can be provided for covering the fastening device.
