[Class 47 (ii)] A foam-mixing chamber b is pear-shaped and has, towards its larger end, supply pipes a, c for foaming solution and gas under pressure, the pipes having coaxial, opposed, nozzles so that the jets of liquid and gas impinge on one another. A foam outlet pipe e is secured on the tapering end of the chamber coaxially with the nozzles.
