[Class 81 (ii)] [Also in Group VII] A suspensory comprises a body portion, a hollow-shaped seamless portion produced by moulding a relatively flat textile material comprising yarns of a thermoplastic cellulose derivative, and means at the junction of the moulded and body portions for preventing the transmission of strains from the moulded portion to the body portion. In one form, a band or hem is provided around each moulded portion at its junction with the body portion. In a modification, the moulded portion is made integral with the body portion, and a piece of material welded to the body portion at the junction with the moulded portion, by means of a layer of a plasticized fabric comprising yarns of an organic derivative of cellulose. In another modification, the moulded portion is flanged, and made from a material different from that of the body portion, the flange and body portion being welded together by a layer comprising a plasticized organic derivative of cellulose. In a further modification, the flange of the moulded portion is stitched to the body portion. In another modification, the moulded portion is flanged, and has an inner stiffening fabric, the flange and stiffening member being attached to the body portion.
