Abstract
501,857. Radiators for motor vehicles. DUNNING, C. E. Dec. 10, 1937, No. 34183. [Class 64 (iii)] A screen for a motor-vehicle radiator comprises a frame having grooved uprights H, for accommodating the edges of a blind G, a guide roller I at the base of the frame, and lateral extensions L between the outer ends of which is mounted a spring- roller K to which one edge of the blind is secured. The frame is secured to the front of the vehicle by a cross-bar M, and the blind is operated by a cord wound on a pulley B attached to a ratchet-wheel mounted on the steering-post A of the vehicle and operated by a hand wheel C.
