Collision-guards.-A bumper-bar for a motor road vehicle comprises a two-part front strip a, a, each part being formed at the outer end with an integral bowed portion b, the free end of which is connected to the front strip by a slidable connection d. The end of each front strip a is provided with a sliding clamp c and the bowed portion b of each strip is connected through a sliding clamp g to a bracket e extending from the vehicle.
