501,610. Pipe joints for lavatory and closet basins. GROENIGER, W. C. Sept. 8, 1937, No. 24504. [Class 99 (i)]. [Also in Group I] A water-closet or lavatory basin having means for supporting it by suspension from a wall has connecting means for a discharge pipe comprising a socket into which the pipe fits, packing 21 being compressed in a recess in the socket by a flanged gland ring 22, studs 25 in the gland extending through holes in the supporting plate 10. The water-closet &c. is secured by bolts 30 which extend through slots in the plate and slots in channels 28 built into the wall.
