Abstract

501,383. Domestic drying - cabinets. WOOD, H. S..Tan. 4, 1938, No. 202. [Class 34 (i)] In a drying-cabinet for clothes &c. suspended therein having an air inlet duct a at the bottom, an air extraction duct d at the side, and heating means b, e in these ducts so that heated air rises in the cabinet but is drawn off near the bottom by the duct d, a baffle f is placed over the air inlet duct and extends from'one side wall g almost to the opposite wall to leave a space i for entry of air, the baffle being perforated to allow some air to pass therethrough. The baffle comprises two spaced sheets of asbestos, the upper one covered with sheet metal o, and holes r, s in the sheets are staggered for admission of air. Battens q spacing the sheets prevent escape of air through the end of the baffle. Specification 194,876, [Class 34 (i)], is referred to.
