Abstract

501,059. Lingerie clips. LAKE, H. W. Aug. 21, 1937, No. 22963. [Class 44] [Also in Group VII] A lingerie clip of the type formed from a metal strip doubled on itself to constitute a spring hinge 7 and wherein the releasable fastening of the clip is effected by forcing, the end 10 of one arm past the substantially circular loop 9 of the other arm, is provided with one or more pressed-up projections 13, on either arm, to increase the gripping effect, the arm 6 being narrower than the arm 5. Apertures 12 are provided for sewing the clip to a garment. The end of the arm 6 may bo doubled and the arms may be bowed in opposite directions.
