Abstract
500,238. Suspending curtains. HOLDER, H Dec. 18,- 1937, No. 35076 [Class 52 (v)] A curtain runner is adapted to fit over a rail f having a longitudinal groove or recess g in its upper surface and is formed with a cage or housing c for balls d arranged in transverse alignment relative to, and rolling upon opposite sides of, the groove or recess and also rolling upon each other. The runner is of inverted U-shape with depending limbs a, b one of which is formed with a hook h and lugs for attachment of the curtain k. The housing c is formed by a depression in the horizontal part of the runner and two side tongues e bent downwardly and inwardly. The limbs a, b may be cranked inwardly so that they snap over the flange of the rail. The groove g may be V-shaped or flat with inclined sides. An end stop comprises a bifurcated clip secured to the rail and having spaced limbs between which the end runner can be engaged.
