[Class 38 (i)] [Also in Group XXV] A clamping screw described as applied to securing a cover 6 to the body 1 of a junction box, but also applicable as an electric terminal comprises a part 2 having thread of coarse pitch which can be forced by hammering or a screw-driver, in the manner of a drive screw, into an untapped aperture of slightly smaller diameter in the part 1 to which the screw is thereby secured, and a part 3 of greater diameter with thread of relatively tine pitch receiving a clamping nut 4, held captive by an enlarged head 5 which may have a slot, not shown, to receive a screwdriver. For use as a terminal, two or more nuts may be provided on part 3.
