Abstract
496,816. Hand-operated indicators. MORRISON, K. W. June 9, 1937, No. 15978. [Class 118 (i)] [Also in Group XXV] A device for receiving and securing a milkdelivery bottle comprises a hollow member 4 secured by a bracket 5 to the door-post 6 so that the inner end is accessible only when the door is open, member 4 guiding a sleeve 2 the outer end of which bears against pivoted jaws 7 under the action of a spring 3. The sleeve 2 is rotatable and bears indications of the quantity of milk desired which are selectively exhibited through an aperture 16 in the member 4, and the indications may be duplicated in reverse order so that the device may be used with right-hand or lefthand doors.
