496,441. Sleeve couplings. THABUR INDUSTRIELLE EN TECHNISCHE HANDELMAATSCHAPPIJ N. V. Feb. 17, 1938, No. 4979. Convention date, Feb. 17, 1937. [Class 38 (i)] A wire connector comprises an insulating cap 1 having borings 9, 10 of different diameter that receive metal sleeves 2, 3 into which the ends of two or more wires are screwed. The various sleeves adapt the device for use with wires differing in diameter or in number. The sleeves are formed with lateral extensions 4, 5 and 6, 7 that allow expansion and enter channels 12 to retain the sleeves in place. A screw ring 8 holds the sleeves in the cap.
