Abstract

A mould for making a bonded abrasive gear wheel used in finishing metal gears is made by pouring a zinc alloy containing 5 per cent of aluminium and 1 per cent of copper about a master gear made from iron containing 1,5 per cent of nickel and 0,5 per cent of molybdenum.
