493,281. Packing-cases. ACME CORRUGATED PAPER & BOX CO., Ltd., and HOWARD, E. C. March 4, 1937, No. 6445. [Class 18] A packing-case is provided with an interior resilient or buffer-like enclosure for the contents, such enclosure comprising two strips D, F of corrugated board folded into channel shape and provided with buffers E, G of corrugated board. Unit D fits against one side and the top and bottom closure flaps of the outer cardboard &c. case, and unit F lines the remaining three sides. The buffer strips may be covered with flannel &c. and buffers may also be provided on the exterior faces of the units. Holes D<5> facilitate lifting of the top and bottom flaps of unit D.
