Abstract

491,796. Envelopes. THRELFALL, R. A. March 8, 1937, No. 6736. Drawings to Specification. [Class 146 (ii)] An envelope is provided either on the sealing flap or the back part, or both, with an adhesive coating which will permanently retain its tacky nature, and the adhesive is protected'by means of sheet material of a gauze-like flexible nature which is applied thereover and can be ripped off to expose the adhesive when the envelope is to be sealed. The protective sheet material is of greater area than the adhesive coating to provide a tab to facilitate the removal of the sheet material.
