[Class 37] [Also in Group XL] In apparatus for carrying out nuclear reactions, the gas pressure in a glow-disharge tube is measured by the current between two glow discharge electrodes arranged in a magnetic field in a separate chamber communicating with the tube. The magnetic field strength and voltage between the electrodes are chosen to give a suitable value of current.
