[Class 106 (i)] The width of the numeral wheels of a counter can be made smaller than standard by viewing the wheels through a lenticular rod 3, Fig. 6, subdivided into magnifying fields. Fig.. 5 .shows the numbers 2 seen naturally, and at 3 through the lenticular rod. By using a rod, Fig. 10, magnifying both the width and the height, both dimensions of the wheels and therefore of the whole counting apparatus can be reduced.
