[Class 38 (iii)] [Also in Groups XXII and XIII] Solenoid-operated valves 39, 50, 51 are controlled by cams on a shaft 61 rotated by a synchronous motor 62 and, by cams on a shaft 71 rotated by a motor 72. Motors 63, 73 are adapted to return the shafts to the normal position, the field windings 67, 74 being respectively in parallel with the field coils 77, 64 of the drive motors so that when one shaft is set into rotation the other is returned to its normal position. The driving motors 62, 72 are alternately energized from mains 52 by a switch 81.
