[Class 76] In a machine for de-wooling or unhairing skins, of the kind in which the skins are supported on boards carried by an endless conveyer between helically ribbed rollers, the rollers are formed with helical strips of rubber which are preferably of triangular cross section and arranged in oppositely wound sets, 17, 18, Fig. 2. The boards 14 carried by chains &c. 12 are moved between the rollers 15, 16. The wool &c. removed by the rollers is carried away by conveyer belts 22, 23, 25, 26.
