Abstract

474,843. Endless - belt conveyers. PEARSON, T. F. June 6, 1936, No. 15863. [Class 78 (i)] A belt 1 is driven by a pair of drums 5, 6 provided with ribs 11, 12 which are so arranged that the belt becomes corrugated when passing between them. The ribs may be disposed helically about the drums and may be of semi-circular cross-section. The belts are arranged to have contact with each drum over an arc which is greater than 180‹.
