[Class 120 (ii)] In endless-belt drawing-apparatus, one or each of the belts, or the only belt if used with a plate and /or a roller, is provided with one or more belts 10 .. 13 arranged interiorly to improve the fibre control. By arranging inner belts of varying thickness and rigidity the pressure may be varied along the contact surface of the belts. The inner belts may be suitably deflected by rods, bars or plates, Figs. 5 .. 8 (not shown) ; they may be narrower than the outer belts ; two or more may be used side by side ; and the carrying-rollers may be recessed or grooved to accommodate them.
