[Class 98 (i)] In a photographic camera with a built-in range-finder, the light-ray deviating element of the range-finder is controlled by a single slidable cam mounted in the camera housing and directly coupled with the sliding support for the camera objective so as tc participate in the focusing movement. In the form shown, the focusing lever 6, pivoted at 7 to the foldable wall 2, has a pin 8 engaging a slot in the sliding bed 5. A rearwardly extending lug 17 has a slot at 16 en. gaging the.end 11b of the member 11 slidably mounted on the camera wall by pins 13 in the slot 12. The cam surface 15 engages the pivoted mem ber 21 which operates the movable mirror 19 of a range-finder. Under the influence of springs 18 and 22, the member 11 follows the focusing movements of the objective and transmits them to the range-finder.
