[Class 38 (v)] [Also in Groups XIII and XXXV] A door-actuated switch 17 for a lamp 16 to illuminate the interior of a refrigerator cabinet when the door is open comprises a plunger 30 biassed to the outward position by a spring and having contacts housed in a hard rubber or other moisture-proof casing 32 within the wall heat insulation 33. The lamp circuit is controlled also by a thermal switch 18 so that it is turned on at low storage temperatures.
