487,813. Closures for drums &c. ROWLEY, H. E. C. (Wilson & Bennett Manufacturing Co.) Aug. 5, 1937, No. 21602. [Class 125 (iii)] The clamping - ring 15 for the cover 12 of a drum &c. is compressed on to the rim of the cover by means of a lever 18 pivoted to the ends of the ring or to attachments 17, 23 rigidly connected thereto. By the use of these attachments in conjunction with a lever of arcuate form, the latter is when the drum is closed, brought snugly within the recess of the cover, being there held by a projection 24 on the ring.
