[Class 104 (ii)] Haulage apparatus for moving vehicles z along a loading platform comprises a small truck consisting of a plate a carrying wheels b running on rails f in a sunken conduit h and provided with flexible or articulated towage means c, d connecting it to the vehicle z. The plate a projects through a slot x and the truck is moved by an endless cable e operated by a winch m driven by an electric motor o controlled by one or more switches y. The tension pulley n may be slidably mounted on rods p and loaded by a spring or springs r. The run of the cable may be supported by hard wood blocks t to prevent sagging, and lateral blocks u may be provided to prevent whipping.
