485,265. Power operated razors. STEVENS, A. H. (General Theatres Equipment Corporation, and Wall, J. M.) Sept. 28, 1937, No. 26245. [Class 131] A power-operated razor consists of a helical cutter 22, Fig. 2, of two or more thin flexible blades secured between cylindrical end portions 18, 20 rotated by an electric motor contained in the body 10. The cutter is detachably secured to a shaft by pins 15, Fig. 1, passing through a bayonet groove 19, Fig. 2. A tubular guard 24, Fig. 2, detachably secured to the body by pins 27, Fig. 1, passing through bayonet grooves 26, Fig. 2, has an elongated opening 28 one side 29 of which forms a cutting edge, and the opposite side has guard fingers 30. A guide is attached to the razor. Alternatively, a guard of elliptical cross section is used, when no guide is required.
