Abstract

483,249. Ambulance stretchers. LILLIEHOOK, H. Nov. 28, 1936, No. 32677. Convention date, Dec. 9, 1935. [Class 108 (i)] Short stretchers for carrying patients in a sitting position are adapted to be connected together by their side longitudinal members to form a long stretcher to carry a recumbent patient. The stretcher comprises a carrying cloth 2 and two longitudinal members 1, hand. grips being formed by recesses 5 in the cloth. The longitudinal members of separate short stretchers are adapted to be connected together by bayonet or other joints 6, 7, 10 to form a long stretcher as shown in Fig. 3. The short stretchers may be rolled up and secured by a strap. Specification 444,681 is referred to.
