Abstract
Slag cements, i.e. cements made from mixtures of slag and lime or Portland cement, have 10-80 per cent limestone incorporated therein during or after manufacture. The addition is stated to improve the strength of the cement. The Specification refers to a cement consisting of 65 parts slag, 10 parts Portland cement, and 25-30 parts limestone.
