Abstract

A fibrous composition consists of approximately 12 1/2 per cent asbestos fibre, 47 1/2 per cent moler or diatomaceous earth, and 40 per cent Portland cement. The composition is applied as a coating or sheet on silica bricks which are afterwards baked.
