[Class 125 (iii)] A bottle capsule stopper 2 has a cork sealing disc 3 and a blank 4 for covering the mouth of the bottle. The capsule is held in the chuck 1 and the cutting edge 7 of the tubular piston 5 is pressed into the sealing disc 3 to form a permanent depression. The inner piston 6 then presses the blank 4 into the depression as shown, and the blank is held by the overhanging edge of the cork when the pistons are. removed. The blank is left in a convex form.
