Abstract

In treating molten magnesium or magnesium alloys with vapours evolved from hydrogen peroxide solution, with or without hydrogen, there is added to the solution manganic oxide or manganese dioxide. Specification 454,335 is referred to. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91, the two oxides may be used in combination. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
