Abstract
480,931. Cutting paper. HAUBOLD AKT.-GES., C. G. July 6, 1937, No. 18732. Convention date, Dec. 15, 1936. [Class 31 (i)] In a cutting-appliance in which paper is cut longitudinally by co-operating cutting discs 2, 3, the upper disc 3 is mounted in a bearing 5 which can be rocked about an axis 6 to move the cutter to an inoperative position 3a. The bearing is rocked by a handle 14 and held in various positions by a spring-pressed detent 15 engaging one of a number of notches in the bearing support 13. The support 13 is carried by a rod 7 slidable and rotatable in a guide 8 which is adjustable along a rod 9 whereby the cutter may be adjusted angularly, vertically and horizontally. The cutter 3 is urged by a helical spring ring 4 against the cutter 2.
