479,680. Lenses for vehicle lamps. STOTT, J. May 7, 1936, No. 13394/35. [Class 75 (ii)] The front face of a lens for a vehicle lamp is formed towards the top with an inner portion C, D that diverges from top to bottom with respect to the rear face G, E and is surrounded by a bevel which terminates at or near the mounting edge F of the lens. The portion C, D may be flat, concave, convex, or in the form of a bull's-eye lens, and the bevel may be flat or slightly concave or convex. The rear face G, E may be flat, concave, or convex, and may also be slightly recessed. The upper part or half B of the portion C, D, and the lower part or half A of the bevel, may be ground, frosted, sand-blasted, or coloured.
