Abstract
In the solidification by spraying into air of solutions or melts of soap, soda, nitrate of ammonia, calcium nitrate, nitro chalk and other substances, the hot solution or melt before atomization is passed through a cooling device containing a rapidly rotating worm or other member adapted to maintain the size of particles solidified in the cooler not greater than those formed by the atomization.
