[Class 6 (iii)] The wheel 6 situated in front of and secured to the shoe 4 of a mowing- machine is provided on its periphery with spikes 7. The wheel, which is slightly dished, is mounted on an axle 8 which is bent at right-angles and secured to a bracket projecting upwards from the shoe.
