409,044. Mowing-machines. BAMFORD, J., St. Mary's Mount, and BAMFORD, C. J., The Parks, both in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire. Nov. 4, 1932, No. 31095. [Class 6 (iii).] To secure a removable liner in the slot of a mowing-machine finger the liner has a slot, recess or opening at its forward end and the finger has a tongue or projection for engaging therein. In the form shown a U-shaped liner 5 is provided with a slot 6 extending from its upper part and around the bend 7 ; this slot is engaged by a projection 1 formed on the finger 2. The liner is secured by rivets to the upper part 3 and the lower part 8 of the finger.
