Abstract
478,750. Tent closures. MARTIN, S. BOSWORTH-. Aug. 24, 1936, No. 23199. [Class 20 (i)] [Also in Group XIV] Curtains, more particularly for use as a closure for tents or like structures, are arranged in co-operating pairs, one of which is formed with a doubled portion B<1>, B<2> into which the end of the other curtain is guided when the curtains are drawn. The guiding is effected by threading rings or the like on the curtains on a set of three cords or other suspension devices, the single curtain running on the middle cord and the doubled ends B<1>, B2 on the outer cords. The lower ends of the curtains are held down by a second set of cords which do not pass fully across the entrance but are secured to the floor, and a bottom valance may be provided. In a modification, two double curtains may be carried by a set of four cords to provide a double overlap when drawn. Specification 443,727 is referred to.
