477,709. Securing ends of ropes. MARTIN, S. BOSWORTH-. Aug. 18, 1936, No. 22700. [Class 109] A device for securing a number of cords, e.g. tent ropes, simultaneously consists of a block of wood &c. with holes C through which the cords are passed, and plugs fitting in the holes, which are smaller at the ends remote from the plugs. A hole 6 bored obliquely through each plug connects with surface grooves 7, parallel with the axis of the plug, the cords being threaded through the holes and grooves C, 6, 7. Grooves may be provided in the block instead of in the plugs. The loop 3 is attached similarly. Specification 443,727, [Group X], is referred to.
