Abstract
A nickel-iron alloy free from aluminium for the springs of temperature-compensated oscillating systems comprises 25-40 per cent of nickel 0,5-2 per cent of beryllium, and 5-12 per cent of one or more of the metals of the group molybdenum, chromium, and tungsten and 0,6-2 per cent of titanium. The alloy may also contain 1 per cent of silicon and manganese together.
