477,418. Holders for rolls of adhesive tape. DREXLER, G. July 4, 1936, No. 18620. [Class 18] A holder for a roll of 'adhesive tape comprises an approximately pear-shaped body with a flat wall portion 4, slit 7, and a bulbous end 6 in which is a recess receiving a cutting- off blade 9. The wall of the box may have finger notches 12 to facilitate the removal of the lid, and a strengthening web 13. The lid may have a shallow flange with projections thereon to fit within the body, and the roll may engage inwardly projecting portions of the body and lid.
