Abstract

791,265. Adhesive tape dispensers. CASTELLI, C. March 27, 1956 [March 30, 1955], No. 9594/56. Class 18. An adhesive tape dispenser comprises a holder for rotatably supporting the tape roll and enclosing it to leave an opening 21 closeable by a slideable cover 27. The cover carries a knife 39 co-operating with supports 33, 33a, to sever the tape. A recess 38 is provided to facilitate grasping the tape free end, and portions 41 on the cover are positioned to close the recess. The portions 41 have projections 43a for engaging indentations 44 to retain the cover closed. A knife as disclosed in Specification 765,497 may be used in lieu of that described.
