475,212. Anti - dazzle devices for vehicle &c. lamps. DANN, C. B. Sept. 4, 1936, No. 24238. [Class 75 (iv)] An anti-dazzle device a for a vehicle or like lamp comprises a plurality of contiguous passages d, arranged in front of the light source e, direct rays from the source passing without interruption through the passages, whilst rays from a reflector f behind the source are obstructed or partially obstructed by the walls of the passages. The passages may be of polygonal crosssection, they may taper rearwardly, and they may be arranged substantially radially relative to the centre of the light source. The device may be formed by moulding glass, synthetic resin, or like transparent or translucent material, or from metal tubes cemented together. The device may be formed with a central opening a<2>, and the walls of the tubes may be 'tapered in thickness.
