Abstract
474,662. Paper sacks. MEDWAY PAPER SACKS, Ltd., and WINSKILL, J. W. Feb. 3, 1936, No. 3193. [Class 94 (ii)] In a multiply paper sack the ends of the plies of the blank are cut step-wise, in reversed order on opposite sides of the sack, to enable each ply to be glued to itself in forming a diamond fold at the end, the lines of cut being generally equidistant and parallel to the ends of the plies over most of their length 10, 11, 12; 11<1>, 12<1>, 13<1> and then turned through approximately 45‹, 11x, 12x, 13x, so as, in the flattened blank, to intersect the diagonal fold lines 15 approximately at right-angles.
