Abstract
472,581. Finishing fabrics. GESSNER AKT.-GES., E. Feb. 16, 1937, No. 4670. Convention date, May 23, 1936. [Class 42 (i)] Stop motions.-Fabric 1 on its way to a calendering machine of the roller - and - trough type passes between two rollers 2, 3 in the circuit of a relay 8. Any foreign metal body in the fabric completes the relay circuit and closes a double switch 10, 11. The switch 10 completes a circuit through a second relay 13 which opens the circuits 19, 20 of the motor driving the calendering machine. At the same time the switch 11 closes a circuit through an indicator lamp 15 and also a retaining circuit through the relay 8 and a resistance 16.
