[Class 132 (ii)] An adjustable golfputter-comprises a telescopic shaft with means for preventing relative angular movement of the parts thereof and spring locking means for holding these parts in longitudinal adjusted position. The grip b is mounted on a tube a frictionallv slidable over the tubular shaft c. A square sectioned rod f, rigid with a plug e in tube a, slidingly engages a correspondingly shaped hole in a metal element g rigid with shaft c to prevent relative rotation of a and c, and spring tongues h housed. in slots in element g frictionally grip the bar f, projections h<2> on the spring tongues engaging recesses f<1> in the barf to lock the parts in adjusted position. A stop f<2> on bar f limits the outward movement of the handle element a. In a modification, the tongues h are dispensed with and the lower end a<1> of tube a, Fig. 7, is slit longitudinally at i frictionally to engage the portion c<1> of shaft c and has indentations k to engage corresponding recesses c<2> in the part c<1> to lock the parts in position. The stop f<2> is made smaller, or dispensed with, in which case an enlargement is provided at the top of shaft portion c<1> such as by screws in the element g to prevent removal of the handle.
