UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE FOUNTAIN PEN Laird F. Covey, Stamford, Conn., and John T. Harten, Ozone Park, N. Y., assignors to L. E. Waterman Company, New York, N. Y., a, corporation of New York To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that we, Laird F. Covey and John T. Harten, citizens of the United States, residing at Stamford, State of Connecticut, and Ozone Park, State of New York, respectively, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Fountain Pen, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

Figs. 1, 2 and 3 are, respectively, a front elevational view, a side elevational view, and a rear elevational view of a fountain pen in a closed position, showing our new design; and

Fig. 4 is a horizontal front view with the writing point exposed.

Our design for a fountain pen is characterized by the specific configuration as illustrated both in a closed position and an open position with circumferential markings extending slightly downwardly below the clip element and termimating in a wide band effect at the end of the cap and a narrow band effect near the Writing point as seen in an open position as in Fig. 4, all as illustrated.

We claim: The ornamental design for a fountain pen, as shown and described.
