471,766. Fencing; fence posts. HILL & SMITH, Ltd., and WORNUM, T. H. April 2, 1936, No. 9715. [Class 45] A wire-mesh fence comprises posts a, b, and rails e supporting the wire mesh' c. The rail e is slotted to receive the top edge of the wire mesh, which may be hooked and interlocked as shown at g. A tensioned wire may be threaded through the upper links within the rail. Each post comprises a bar a of channel section secured to a parallel flat bar b by bolts d having spacing sleeves s, the wire being disposed between the bars. The upper end of the bar b is formed into an eye f to carry the rail e. The rail may be of square cross-section.
