[Class 61 (iii)] A ratchet wrench comprises a body c of light metal or alloy such as aluminium alloy in which is mounted a ratchet-wheel f engaged by a pawl h mounted on a pin j and having rounded surface l adapted to engage a part circular recess in the body so as to relieve the pivot of the driving pressure on the pawl. The polygonal socket m of the ratchet wheel is adapted to receive separate socket members n provided with a spring pressed ball q on the polygonal stem p to snap into a recess in the socket m.
