470,147. Garment pads. SLADDIN, A. G. Nov. 2, 1936, No. 29714. [Class 141] A pad for garments comprises a number of superposed layers B of corrugated wadding, felt, or other unwoven material, which are securely held within covering layers A of suitable material by stitching C or by adhesive applied only to the outer edges of the layers A. Loose holding stitches D may also be employed to prevent displacement of the layers. One or both covering layers A may be composed of corrugated wadding, felt, or other unwoven material. The corrugations of the respective layers B may be parallel or angularly arranged with respect to each other. In a modification, Fig. 5, the layers A, B are interleaved with wadding, loose textile fibres, or the like E. Specifications 269,399, [Class 141], and 445,930, [Group VIII], are referred to.
